An Inuit Gathering in Lekwungen territory (aka Victoria) – April 11, 2026

Please join us April 11, 12 – 3pm for a pot-luck gathering for Inuit and their loved ones. We have lots of time to share food, play games, and share culture. Depending on the weather, we can be outside and inside. We have a dry sauna and a bbq available to us, as well as a small fridge. Note, we have use of a bathroom and no shower is available for after the dry sauna. We would love for you and your loved ones to join us. Please email bcmiut@gmail.com for the address.

An Inuit Gathering in Vancouver – August 8 & 9, 2026 – Save the date

Hosted by the Vancouver Maritime Museum, these two days are for Inuit living in BC. Lots of time for us to be together to share food, knowledge, and culture. We have access to a kitchen, an indoor meeting space, and an outdoor meeting space over the two days. The museum occasionally receive donations of Inuit made cultural items and clothing. We could spend some time with a behind the scenes tour and sit with their Inuit donations while we sew, carve, etc… We could have our own South of 60 – Northern Games! What are some things you would like to do together?
